i really am saddened that a lot of people don't want to play Skyrim because it isn't released on a nintendo console. or they refuse to buy anything other than Nintendo hardware, but i'm a bit happy that Bethesda says there is a possibility to have Skyrim on the WiiU , that way all the nintendo fans have the chance to enjoy it.

its the same case for other  great games that were only released on HD consoles, but skyrim is the most saddening one for me, since i think EVERYONE should play it, even people who don't play many games can enjoy it, its a game that isn't really a "Game" in my opinion its a game that will change depending on the type of gamer you are, wether you like to hack and slash everything , or just want to explore and talk, or you want to buy a house, and do everyday stuff, these kind of games are the best in my opinion.

but enough about that, like the title says, would you (Nintendo Only owners) would buy Skyrim?  , and please don't be all "No because its shit!" or "No!" or something short, i want reason as to why do you want it or not, i want to have an intellegent and mature conversation for once.

i'll try replying as best as i can, without getting into arguments (because at the moment, everyone who hates Skyrim piss me off... yeah i'm that much a fan, sorry..)

It looks like a computer game. I play wii to get away from a computer games. That's why i say NO!
Also when you say it's not really a game. That's actually a red flag for me. Also what makes this game better then every other HD game that we are supposed to be impressed by?

I don't know. It seems to have a decent mod community so the PC version sounds like the best version to get (if I decide to get it).

I was never aware that there was particular grief that Skyrim in particular was not on Nintendo platforms.

Nintendo fans (like myself) bear some scorn towards Bethesda and Zenimax as a company for how they have deliberately avoided supporting Nintendo platforms over the years, but that is irrespective of the games they deliver. I fully expect for there to be an excuse when it comes time as to why Skyrim, or any other Bethesda/Zenimax game, can't come to Wii U

also having to label HD games as if they're all the same thing is also saddening, one of the reasons why i am excited for WiiU is that Nintendo fans will finally see why its not the "HD" thing that makes the games great, its the games themselves.

its the same argument that can be said about people who for example refuse to play Skyward Sword because its not an HD game, really HD or Not, it doesn't really matter, if a game is great it is great.

yes of course.... well, that is if I buy the WiiU which I'm not really that interested. I'm planning to buy it for PC although I prefer to play in consoles instead of PC.

i can see why they did it on Wii, i mean Skyrim, Fallout and Oblivion are huge games,and when i say huge i don't mean the open world or something, i mean the content and the scale, and Wii isn't capable of doing it, there is no other work around for it, heck even the HD consoles are struggling to keep a straight face sometimes.

but the WiiU can actually handle it perfectly ,it can even use the controller screen for lots of great things, such as inventory management and conversation picking , i myself am excited to see what they can do with it.

hey you can plug in a controller on a PC to play it , Skyrim is very Controller friendly (since its a 360 port) , the user interface works perfect on controllers
