Forums - Nintendo - PETA Creates “Mario Kills Tanooki” Campaign, because Mario said it’s Okay to Wear Fur

Are PETA just against animal cruelty, or are they against the consumption of meat too? After all it doesn't explain in Mario whether or not he killed it humanely and ate the meat, all that red meat might explain why he's so plump despite all the jumping about.

By this logic I'm expecting their next target to be the BBC given that it's currently Children in Need week and their mascot is a bear with an horrific eye injury...

VGChartz

I don't know if the alternative is really any better

Its ok for girls to wear fur as well.

As long as they shave occasionally.

Or we should feed them hamburgers! Then again that's a waste of a perfectly good hamburger.

Signature goes here!

Mario also says it's ok to use fire underwater.

Getting upset about a videogame character wearing fur is even more moronic than getting angry at someone wearing faux fur ... Videogame characters are not real, and no animals could possibly have been hurt for Mario to wear the racoon suit.

LOL....I can't belive this is for real!

Oh Wait! They're testing cosmetics on animals, those evil bastards. Go get em!

Peta has long ago lost any credability, there current objective is gain attention by any means necessary.
