 There are others here who could deserve a good wiping, too.  Some who have self-inflated their profile views.  I think doing away with the whole system could really be a shock in the pants to a few around here.

I can't say that I am sure Blu ray will catch on either. Of course we all remember VHS vs. Beta and we assume HD DVD is the new beta. But what if this is VCD vs. cd-i? Sure VCD beat cd-i but.... VCD never really caught on either.

Think Blu Ray has gone to far for this to be the case? It's sales last I checked were equal to that of modern VHS sales. Just cause you bet your main competitor doesn't mean you get to be the next standard.

Maybe it will be a few years befor a truly revolutionary format dethrones DVDs.

Why? Blu-Ray is better. It's cooler, too.

No point signing this. This will teach people who bought HD DVD stuff to never be early adopters of products that rely on a new medium or format. Personally i hope one finally comes on top (personally i didnt care which, just one of them) so when i can feel safe when i decide to buy a player and start investing in HD movies.

Save HD-DVD? What's that? .....aaa, that ancient HD format gone to oblivion.
I have better idea. Lets save Betacam. lol

I want to kick HD-DVD till its dead, Blu-Ray too.

Blu-ray will more than likely die off in a few years when there is even better technology released. Such is life.
