Unbias? My list is very bias Just you wait

It was a toss up between this and Pharoah... I actually flicked a coin to decide it, but hey.

My first ten entries won't feature any Nintendo game, even though my full list has more than 30 of them. That's how you make a great list.

Holy MOSES!!! Nintendo damn, just counted 30/50 of my games are on Nintendo platforms, most of which are exclusive.

Say what you will about nintendo, when they make good games, they make REALLY good games.

I think Rol was actually talking about Nintendo published games (or developed? but that can be harder to prove).... I only have a measly 29 Nintendo published games in my 50, clearly I am biased against Nintendo.

Well 90% of the time, Nintendo exclusive IS Nintendo published. I was refering to games published by Nintendo, but of my 30 games, some of them aren't.

That's quite an exaggeration, but i see you point. (certainly in this case, where people are listing their favourite games, Nintendo published will generally be at the top of any Nintendo system exclusives)

Counting non-Nintendo published games that are exclusive to a Nintendo platform, my list of Nintendo games goes up to 39-41, depending on whether 2 of my games are exclusive or not, as I am not sure. Of course that should be expected of me as apart from the odd PC game the only non- Nintendo system I own was MegaDrive, and I didn't really amass much of a game collection on it.

Kind of an odd, quirky inclusion, but dammit! I had to post it!

49 - Joe and Mac: Caveman Ninja (SNES)

What a quirky, silly game. So all the caveman babes have been stolen from your villags, so Joe and Mac, the Caveman Ninja, have to trek across a prehistoric land beating up rival cavemen and killing dinosaurs with help of the simplest weapons. Good level design, great music, and a surprisingly weird turn at the end. This game has LOADS of sentimental value for me and the sheer volume of times I've replayed it is a testament to its staying power!

Tell me someone else knows about this game.

Talking about great maps, every self respecting gamer should instantly recognize this one.

Too bad there was no room for it in my top 50. Maybe I should make some changes still...

Crap now the music is stuck in my head again.

Unfortunatly, my first generation of gaming was on the SNES and Genesis. NES and older games are unfamiliar to me.

Because it says Die Mortal, has trees and a dinosaur, I would guess Ninja Gaiden?

Also my 50th vote was Halo 2. Great co-op game, and a shooter with a plot, very rare now days.

It's still 3 years before the very first arcade version of Ninja Gaiden. 1985 8 bit era. Answer

Okay well that pink monument near Die Mortal looks like the start of Zelda II (which I did play, and I really liked it). So my final guess is Zelda 2.

What the hell? What kind of self respecting gamer do you expect to recognize that? That's such a random title. It's not even a NES game...

psshhh the days before NES were like the days before Stars formed. Lifeless, Dark, and empty.

When they put effort into it, they can make really great games (XenoBlade for instance), but it's been a long time since they made a new IP, and I think their old games are the better ones.

TWRoO of the 30 Nintendo games which made my list, only 2 aren't published by Nintendo, and one of those games isn't even Nintendo exclusive. So something like 96% of my Nintendo exclusive games are Nintendo published.

Nah not lifeless and dark, just limited to 16 or 4 colors. It's part of the miner willy series, he was as relevant as mario in the early 80's.

Ahh the days before NES when microsoft's msx platform was the most popular system in Japan which gave birth to metal gear solid.

WHAT Really? Microsofts platform was the most popular system in Japan? Wow things have changed..

I dun't know much about the days pre-NES. I just hear Atari was king back then, and all the games look like crap to me. Not in terms of sprites, but gameplay. NES had a lot of really quality titles.

I have a feeling, when I get older, I'll mention some big SNES games and people will think, what the heck is that? Worst thing is I still play my SNES, so I can just imagine...

49. L.A. Noire (PS3)

I have never been a huge fan of Rockstar's games, but I liked L.A. Noire a lot (I'm aware that it's actually developed by Team Bondi). Investigating was simply amazing, the characters were great and the story was compelling most of the time.

2012 - Top 3 [so far]

                                                                             #1                                       #2                                      #3

I decided to give Ikaruga #49 on my list since this difficult game needs all the love it can get.
