Well with the announcements of BattleField4, Saints Row the Fourth, Assassins Creed 3 , CoD 2012 it would appear every company out their is re-assuring the public of the obvious. Anyone with a brain knows these games are coming yet each company sees the need to confirm them. Well now its Nintendo's turn like those publishers mentioned Nintendo is confirming a game we all know is coming. I thought it would be interesting to post their statement anyways and get user feedback.

So what is this big announcement. Well with MarioKart7 launching very soon it would appear Mario Kart producer Hideki Konno is interested in making it clear that Mario Kart WiiU is most likely coming. Saying "I can't get into the specifics, but I do want to create a new and enjoyable Mario Kart that uses the unique functions of the Wii U," adding "Anything beyond that I have to keep secret. Please bear with me for now!"

So MarioKart WiiU, does this catch anybody by surprise? Is there really a point in Nintendo even mentioning the title considering it is a given and without nothing to show they are just teasing us? Whats your thoughts on this statement pretty much confirming Mario Kart WiiU?

Yes it was part of an interview just like Saints Row the Fourth was announced in an interview. Whats he supposed to say? Well what ever the heck he wants. I am not completely sure how the question was asked my Nintendo Power subscription ran out a little while back. But this story is all over Nintendo employees Twitter accounts and is being widely announced on other smaller sites and even some bigger ones. Everyone is using it as confirmation and I find it sort of funny that everyone including Nintendo is making such a big deal about a game we all know was coming.

I'm already waiting for it without any announcement!

As always I value your opinion and input. I also don't want to be seen as mocking Nintendo. The way NOA employees and other game developers and media outlets are reporting it or posting on Twitter is just insane and the reasoning for my threads title. However since I don't have the actual article in front of me and can't comment on how the announcement was made I agree my title might be a little contriversial. As a show of good faith I will change it immediatly. Though it is not a mistake , just the choice of words might not be the best.
