Lol that is true when it comes to films. Certain films get hyped up like crazy on the internet yet still get hardly any business and certain films become massive hits with little internet hype.
The point is casual people do not go on the internet and argue and fight about a movie or game.
Anyways I think MW3 will be my last COD game for a while. I am pick up the next game latter on like X-Mas unless it has solid reviews.
Yeah COD is crazy, local Gamestop was open from 9am to 11 pm yesterday and was busy the entire time. No game creates that level of craziness.
Next year is going to be epic with Halo 4 however unless it comes out in Sept..
Then COD will face low competition next year.
Good lord. More CoD and AC? Man, I'm getting tired of this pattern. I see AC going the route of Guitar Hero ,if revelations doesn't sell well. Honestly, I have not seen a lot of hype in this site for Revelations. It's mostly been MW3, Skyward Sword and skyrim. I still have yet to try AC, All the games just look so alike and it looks like more of the same, but that's what sells nowadays: more of the same. As for CoD, I don't think any game will stop this franchise until it burns out on its own....hopefully soon.
COD duh. AC this will be the first AC title that I get bargain bin. It REALLY needs a 2 year development window for 3.

Already? Geez. I mean, we know they're coming, but can't they wait until the holidays are over to announce them?
BTW, I'm getting a bit tired of AC. I love the games, but a yearly release is too much. I hope they release AC3 next year and finish the story, and I may not get Revelations. I don't care for MW because they don't interest me.
No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.
frankly even if COD burns out by the game, it pretty much was an epic run.
Also this is the last MW...
Next Years game will be the guys who made Black Ops.
Now, people hate on the game here but the mutliplayer was liked by casual gamers.
COD isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Frankly, even an "unsuccessful" COD would sell a ton. In a year Black Ops has sold 26 million copies across all of the platforms it released on. MW3 is probably going to sell more. Even if all of a sudden the next version "only" sells half as much that's still 13 million and a blockbuster game.
What I'm saying is that all good things do come to an end, and it will with COD too, but it is going to take a loooong time.
Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League
lol even with half the sales it would still blow away any other FPS even BF3.
Even Halo 4 will sell maybe 13 million+ buts its only on one system.
So COD reign in the FPS shooter market looks dominate for a while and its because its popular with casual gamers and it is on all systems.
My word. This is the most surprising news I've heard all week.
/sarcasm
I agree that Assassin's Creed should go on holiday. The quality is starting to suffer, and TBH I'm not bothered about this new one, despite loving the rest.
