It gives the skelaton of the game. The closest to a spolier is what happens in the begining of the game and link's relationship with zelda. Other then that nothing major. Just explains why it's the best.

Unless I get that feeling of pure wonder that I got playing Ocarina (especially first time onto Hyrule Field) I don't think I'll rate this higher than it.

Of course I'm a person who puts Link's Awakening down as the best Zelda ever made and Ocarina as my second favourite =P

Every new game is either set at the beginning of it all or at the end of it all. SS is set at the beginning of it all. For now.

Nintendo isn't going to insert any games inbetween. It makes no sense to do so, because nothing makes any sense at all when it comes to Zelda.

I'm still excited though. I like the direction this game's story is headed. Well, based on what I have seen thus far anyways.
