Forums - Gaming Discussion - MW3 goes for controversy again - minor spoilers

Tagged games:

Since MW is mostly bought by casuals who don't look at release dates they need to remind them it's a time of year where they should do a lemming rush to the shops for new part.

What better way than a week long drama in TV news about something controversial in new MW3.

I remember when CoD campaigns were good and didn't have to resort to stuff like this.

Here's to another multi-million seller!

COD4 will always have the best campaign.

In my opinion , the first CoD had the best campaign, and if you will know why i think so you will laugh and call me a troll..... but so i wont get flamed its this.

because it was the closest to Medal Of Honor the series was ever been to

I felt sorry for the girl, but she shouldn't have pissed off those birds like that.

...... thats it? There have been plenty more terrible child scences ... I remember in Xenosaga 1 where there is literally a on screen child rape.

meh. if some dudes came out of the truck and gunned the kid down while her parents stood by, crying for their loss before they killed the parents, THAT would be controversial. this was relatively tame. Hell, once the 'splosion happens...well...you can't see anything and nobody's there. not very emotional.

This.

Is this what passes for controversy nowadays? zzzz

yeah, go to japan, THAT'S  where the fucked up stuff starts.  There's a lot out there, this is nothing. Sure, it violates the "don't harm kids or animals" clause, but still.
