I'm not surprised. I heard a rumour from a friend's friend's mother's granny's lover's dog's stalker's sister about the pre-orders being over 10 million and then 9.5 million of them cancelled their pre-orders because of that very reliable and well-written review by The A.V. Club.

I know right. I feel guilty for playing through Uncharted 3 (~ten hours) and Uncharted 1 (about the same) in the last two days.

Bad sales for a bad game. If it was good, it wouldn't have flopped so hard (critically or commercially). The fact is good games sell. Examples include MW3, Skyrim, BF3, Batman, Gears, & the list goes on. UC3 is simply on a lower level in terms of quality.

I have to say as much as Uncharted 3 has been hyped all year long and being the #1 PS3 title this year the preview of 550K in NA is well kinda low. I know it is a 30% improvement over Uncharted 2, but that should be the case Uncharted 2 brought in a alot of people looking to continue the series. So should have expected a more front loaded release. Though it isnt a flop.

I know why Sony called it "uncharted". Because if you check any reputable sales Chart, you'll discover that Uncharted is not on the chart, making it...uh...un-charted!

I agree with you, slow start? Meh is what I have to say, I mean it's Uncharted people! 5m+ soon enough give it time guys.

After those couple of bad reviews, I had to cancel my preorder. I bet many readers of these forums did the same. The thing is it was doomed from the beginning because so many knew it would be coming from Sony. Time for Sony to just pull out before they birth another monstrosity.

Still didn't pick it up. I'll borrow it from my nephew as soon as he finishes it. Actually, the reviews were so bad that he told me that he doesn't even want to finish it. If the young kids think it's not cool ... I do not want.

Plus, those sales are horrible.
