Forums - Sony - Uncharted 3 ending left a lot of questions unanswered (Epic, Massive, Game-ruining Spoilers)

The whole container that was contaminating the water was only in the spotlight for a very short time and then on top of that, Nate simply shoots a couple of explosive shells and the whole place comes crumbling down. While the crumbling of the city was cool, I think I liked events from the city sequence in Uncharted 2 more.

I was also disappointed with the main villains. It felt like that was another area that Uncharted 2 did a better job of.

Something else that was annoying that I hadn't noticed before was the reloading. It would be interrupted more than in the past games so there were times where I'd pop out to take down one of the numerous cookie cutter armored guys (another very annoying issue) and I'd only have a few bullets left in the magazine and take a shotgun blast to the face.


I liked Marlowe. She felt like a real villianess. My problem with the game came from there really not being any development or conclusion. I wanted to see more and they could have added so much to the story to make it a 20 hour game instead of a 12 hour game.

Naughty Dog disappointed me in 3.

Explanations were not there, but for a game it has the best storytelling out there. Drake is dumb for liking Elena more than Chloe. Chloe has a better personality and is better looking. Oh well, I hope his adventures are not done. They could draw him in next game by getting Elena kidnapped or something.

And what is Drake's real name? I'm guessing that means he isn't actually Francis Drakes descendant.

Many people keep asking about Elena and Cutter, I'm surprised no one figured out that Drake and Elena were together for 2yrs between Uc2 and Uc3, and it's not impossible they met each other during that time.

Drake's name might be something explored in either GA or Uc4 or just never talked about again, because...it's not that big a deal is it?

lastly, I too was confused about the dead guy but apparently there are types of spiders that can make a body decompose quickly, so if you imagine them in a large group...

Try playing some of the story co-op missions, and you'll see why Drake isn't interested in Chloe. She spews out the corniest "witty" lines you've ever heard, one after the other. I actually hate her now.

The only thing i wanna know is what she meant when marlow said drake wasn't his real name. It left me like "come on, I WANNA KNOW" Other than that, I liked the story and I really liked Charlie Cutter as a character. I had hope they would have done more with him. Also my favorite part was the horse/convoy chase. The shortcut through the canyons were so detailed and just jaw dropping. Also, the chase that goes on after you drink the water was pretty neat cause I didn't know he was actually tripping balls. I thought it was the actual fire demons from the story but overall i will agree, some plot points didn't go anywhere. Well, here's hoping for U4 next gen.
