Yeah, but...

1.) Those people are most likely Nintendo haters, you are not. You are THE Nintendogamer.

2.) You do this for nearly all of your Nintendo predictions, so much so, that you've built a reputation for doing so.

Combine #1 & #2 and you're the epitome of the word "ironic".

I think Nintendo would have a heart attack and never make a Zelda game again and have fun and just party with their billions which they've made forever.

I.E it won't. 7-10mil, on a good day.

I wouuld be pretty shocked if the game even managed to perform better than the likes of SSBB, and the Mario Galaxies. In other words, I'll give it roughly 6-7 million. Which of course isn't bad by any means..

As to all people saying 10 million would be more reasonable, I wish but nope. SS will probably even sell less that TP, for the simple reason that imo less "core" gamers buy Wii games these days, no matter what the game is.

This Zelda title has the potential to sell higher than any previous Zelda game. It is being released on a home console which will hjave 90 million units out, as a flagship title, and with more hype behind it than any Zelda game outside of Ocarina of Time.

I am expecting ~5-6 million this year, and 8-10 million total.

You don't understand the motive behind this thread. But reading through the replies, hardly anyone does.

Nintendo releases a Zelda that uses the Wiimote. Suppose it becomes a huge hit. How stupid will Nintendo look for making a console that uses a classic controller as its main input?

Even moreso than they already do now.

I totally agree with what you said but the op  never stated his motives or tried to explain them.
