ok....understandable but Sony fans will be sad by this news

Come on. They sued a jailbreaker into the dirt out of fear of piracy, why would they allow people to share software?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
The removal of dead systems thing is a blessing....until I remember that I'd only be able to use two systems, anyway. That 1 system out of 5 that is dead means nothing, now.

Yeah, being able to do it on your PC without having to try and get a quick fix working for the dead PS3 is awesome.

But yeah, at least we will now be able to recover lost systems, I've lost 2 PS3s to problems and called sony to deactivate them and they said they would but I'm not so sure that they did. |
yeah, I think my final count on all exports, discs, and downloads is something like 1350 or something...that 3000 number includes the price of the discs and hardware. I have Rock Band 1, 2, 3, ACDC, Beatles, Lego, and Greeen Day. I also have two full sets of instruments, an extra guitar (for keys), and a cymbal set.
I really wish the genre didn't dive headfirst into a shitpile in popular culture. rocking out to fake plastic instruments is as fun as it ever was, I just don't have a lot of people to play with, making it...less fun. There was a time when I had 'all DLC", and that lasted up to somewhere right before Beatles Rock Band came out...ever since Rock Band 3 came out, I've got maybe 50 songs? I've had to severely cut back. it sucks.
My Console Library:
PS5, Switch, XSX
PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Holy damn, 1350 songs @___@, That's HUGEEE, I have like 80 DLC songs, RB1, 2, 3 and just 1 guitar for myself. I usually play with some friends I've made through RB2. If I had some money I would definitely buy a lot more DLC, I can't say I would want it all since I hate some of those bands xD. Like I said if you ever wanna play online add my PSN, I'm not bad but I'm not crazy good either, example: 99% at panic attack but 80% through the fire an flames ~~~~ But I like to have fun online!

Don't forget the time they sued someone who hacked their robotic dog to teach it new tricks, which like increased their sales X10.

I guess some companies will go to great lengths to protect their hardware.
