When will the PS3 version of COD outsell its 350 counterpart?

The Xbox version will alw... 144 83.72%
 
MW3 will sell more on PS3 than 360. 10 5.81%

Not on PS3, but maybe when PS4 vs 720 is in full swing in a few years.

PS3 black ops is still undertracked anyway. Get the official shipment from Activision and assume 44-45% share for PS3.

Based on current users its less then 2mil right now, last night mw3 360 was around 6.45mil different accounts.  Atleast 5.2mil so far on PS3.


Correct me if I'm wrong. Only gold users can play online on X360, but everyone can do it on PS3, and with multiple accounts (all free)

 

I wouldn't take those numbers as a way to compare the number of units sold, at least not directly.

Since you can have multiple (free) accounts that's pretty meaningless.

You think many players are logging into 2-3 different accounts within the first few days to play MW3, unlikely.  Most players don't even use more then one account, and even less then that would use it for cod.  Most of the double and triple accounts of PSN users are just UK and japanese accounts used to access those stores.

A family will have multiple accounts but only 1 console.

In my opinion, Call of Duty is never going to sell more on PS3 than it will on the 360.

(They are crap games nowadays anyway, people need to stop buying them!)

When American gamers decide they're no longer into FPS. Or when a CoD game comes out with the Red Army (China) being the "good" guys in the story.

Not sure which is the more unlikely scenario.

The second week sales were practically even, if PS3 can start taking the lead from now (unlikely i know) then it really does have a chance at coming very close to the Xbox versions sales.

I think it depends how much and which console the WiiU takes from either the X360 or the PS3.

If the WiiU doesn't have the online voice chat that the X360, then I would think it would take more from the PS3. As the only advantage over the other consoles is improved graphics. But it's really a wild card.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
