Nintendo fans crying because Twilight Princess got an 8.8 from Gamespot.

Sony fans crying because Uncharted 3 got an 8 from Eurogamer.

Cliffy B. crying because Gears of War 3 got an 8 from Eurogamer.

We all know full well which is the worst in the eyes of the gaming media, but how about you guys?

Typical of Nsanity to pick up on negative PS3 news and try to generalise PS3 owners, or people who oppose Eurogamers review, as absolute morons.

Stick the Microsoft section Nsanity, you seem to be a lot more positive there, I wonder why.

Anyway, I don't have a problem with the review, it's his opinion and he can say what he wants. The problem is inconsistency, how can Uncharted 2 get 100% and Uncharted 3 get 80%. He doesn't really seem suited to write the review at all, Uncharted obviously isn't his game and when you pick someone to write a review it shouldn't be somebody who feels that opinionated about it (positive or negative). It wouldn't be a problem if all these scores and reviews weren't taken so seriously, this one mans opinion shouldn't be making it into gaming news.

Still, plenty of reviews and 80% shouldn't be considered a bad score at all, let the morons bitch and enjoy the game that many other reviewers gave 9's and 10's

i'll tell you whats worst then that. all 3 games getting a 1 out of 10 or a 1 out of 5. imagine the hate. smell the shit storm that would brew if that happened.

8 out of 10 for both Uncharted 3 and Gears of 3 are still great scores. An 8 is almost as good as the 9's and 10's from other softer game reviewers. EuroGamer are infamous for being a harsh and controversial game reviewer. 9/10 or 9.5/10 is as high as most of the high profile games deserve.

On the net, it has to Sony Fans but on this site it isn't that bad, but nothing is worse than Cliff B or any Developer bitching.

i mean what's wrong with all these fanboys hating so much against other peoples opinions? do they think that 8/10 will change anything? uncharted 3 will get like 100 reviews on metacritics so if it get's a 8 or 10 will change nothing.

do they think people won't buy the game if they read the review? no they will still buy it or not because the review is well written and everybody will understand if the negative points are important for themselve or if they are negative points for them.

they really should all stop posting scores and only write reviews in the future. everyone has to read the review than and not only to look at the score.

you really can't expect that hundreds of sites will give a game the score you want. that makes no sense but fanboys seem to ignore that. it seems that they oly read the bad reviews just to hate against it in the comments. sometimes i think they have not really an interest in the game itself. they just have to hate against everyone who gives a bad score against an exclusive console game they own.

scores are really not important. i love to read previews and i know after reading one if the game is huge/good/bad/whatever. sometimes it changes if they review the game because they fucked up something (the developers) but if they write a review like a preview it's really easy to understand if it's a game i would like or not.
