Next Generation is right around the corner(sort of) with Wii U launching next year, Nextbox heavily rumored for reveal next year, and I PS4 rumored with a reveal as well. So do you plan on buying you console(s) of choice the day of launch or will you wait a little while longer? If you do plan on waiting, for what reason? Price? Lack of Games? Faulty system? Personal I will probably wait a year before I pick up a new console or wait for the first price drop. 

I'll probably wait at least a couple more years, regardless of when each console comes out. I'm not exactly in a rush to run out and spend another $300-$400 on a console. Though if Wii U comes out next year and is cheap enough, I might be tempted to buy it at launch. But the 360 I feel is powerful enough, and has enough games to keep me occupied with that for awhile before I invest in the next MS console.

Probably going to get it within six months as long as there are enough games to make it worth it and of course to see if the hardware is reliable. This will probably be the PS4. Only nextbox if it comes out a lot sooner.

I know for a fact I'm not gonna spend more than $300 on a console. I'll wait as long as necessary till either the Nextbox or PS4 hits the $300 mark. Plus there should be at least 2 games out that are worth buying.

I regret wasting my money buying a PS3 in March/April 2007. It was $650 in Canada at that time and the only games worth playing at that time were Resistance and Oblivion. I'll never make a mistake like that again.

I'll buy the Wii U when I get enough money. I'll buy the PS4 when the slim model comes out. I'll buy the nextbox when Rare makes a good new IP.

Wii U on Launch, PS4 within the first year, next xbox when it is cheap, so I can play what I missed.

I am not sure whether I'll be getting PS4 or next xbox yet, but most likely the Xbox, as most of my friends are likely to go for that, and the exclusives appeal to me. I don't think I'll be getting the next gen console for a while if the price mark is >£300, if it's about £250-300 then I'll get it as soon as I can afford to do so. Not sure when/if I'll be getting a PS4, still need to pick up PS3 although I see little point this late on anyway, with virtually none of my friends having it ;_;.

Wii U doesn't really appeal to me.
