I'm sorry, but this thread is turning out into a pathetic mess.

Reminds of of teenage girls freaking out and almost dying when they saw the Beetles. Some of you guys here have really lost my respect with your ridiculous excitement of,

''OMG ITS UP TO 94 AGAIN GO! ND GO! GO! GO!!!!''

You are (some of you at least) grown men ffs.

How will ANYONE take any debate with you seriously after acting like this I do not know. I pity people who are legitimate 360 fans on this site - I'm starting to see what they have to go through.

I don't understand. What's wrong with being excited over a meta-score? It's exciting to see where it will land, and how close it will come to its predecessor. It would be just as pathetic for a "360 fan" to get all hot and bothered over something like this. It's not the console people care about, it's Naughty Dog.

Didn't you make a bet on this months ago anyway?

i've been waiting for gamespy and msn. not sure if metric counts those, but msn will dog it i'm sure like they did Re and GEARS3 and gamespy will likely give it a 4/5.

GS track record is like G4 on average so thats wht i see.

Clearly being excited over a meta score is childish, but having the name Dr. Grass isn't at ALL childish. And I think you are actually sorely mistaken Dr. Grass. Somebody like myself also doesn't give a rats ass how people on here view me. My internet persona is quite considerably different than rl.  And if I had to guess, the same is true about a lot of members on this website.

Its possible batman is a better game than uncharted. The devs of uncharted try very hard to keep the game accessible to everyone which will obviously dumb down the gameplay a bit. You will hardly find anyone saying uncharted is a hard game.

Hard =/= Good

I judge how good a game is based on the experience I go through and from that, U2 is a 10/10 in my book and Arkham Asylum is a 8/10.

I havent played UC3 nor AC so I can't comment on that, but it feels very likely that I won't be sitting with a my mouth wide open when playing Arkham City.

We're all different, but I prefer Uncharted more just like Ethomaz.

EDIT: My favourite games this gen has been Metal gear solid 4, God of war 3 and Uncharted 2+3 mainly because of the Whoa stuff that constantly comes. Its just the type of gamer that I am. I tried platinuming Uncharted 2 but to no success. Crushing was too difficult to me XD.

i played UC2 on hard first and it took me 19.5 hours and it was just epic. theres no other word for it.

then i play'd it on on crushing after playing online for the first time. it felt like it was taking forever to beat , and lazarebitch was an ass. i had to fight him likely 30 to forty time but i beat his srry ass and while crushing was the hardest this i play'd since god of war on god and 2 on titan. it only took me 4hr's to beat UC2 on crushing.

imagine my shock! i died more times then the avgerage pornstar gives head? female and male. bisexuals included. even girl on girl!

to die that many times and finish in 4hrs is amazing.

your awesume dud.

i'm sarcastic in R.L., and take every pun, joke, statement, n.u.n.do spin it and man its over done but it gets the laugh out lol. i'm sure your still awesume in R.L aswell.

i understand what mantlepiececk means. for example for me the climbing stuff was to easy in uncharted 2 (didn't play the first one). there are really only a few places where you have to think what to do next. for me an adventure means that i have to think a lot about my next steps but you don't really have to do it in uncharted 2. everything is so logical you just have to start to climb and every next step isn't a challenge. only challenge are the foes depending on the difficulty.

that doesn't mean that i don't like uncharted 2. it's in my top 3 this gen for all platforms but it would be even better for me if these challenges would be harder.

On topic, its still sitting at 94 with 49 reviews. 15 are perfects.

I agree it's exciting.

However, being repeatedly deflated/elated by a drop/rise of 1% on Metacritic (which by all accounts isn't an exact science to begin with) is...you know.

Thing is, if this is such a major thing then, for example, GT5's meta should induce depression in some.

Excitement and continual updates are very apt for this thread - yes. But scrolling page after page of  ''OMG 10!!!'' leaves a rather bitter taste in the mouth. A backlash is expected after a negative comment like that, but it just seems like a good discussion is being drowned away with fanatacism.

With regards to the bet - I made it because it was fun, and I was pretty much convinced that I couldn't lose. In all probability Homer will make an alt account instead of carrying around the burden for 30 years anyway.

Maybe the 1% is related to the fact that my bet was 93 and Andrespetmonkeys was 94 xD

Not what I said. Go through this thread and just consider for a moment; This thread is the main place people would go for updates regarding U3's scores. There's a difference between 'being excited' and... well go through the thread and see for yourself.
