mass effect 2 followed by deus ex

Dark Souls. Seldom is gaming so good. Elder Scrolls is the only franchise that can top Dark Souls.

2nd pick would be Castlevania. Not sure if it was released in 2011 or 2010 though.

Batman or Portal2

I think Portal 2 might the best game I played this year. With Infamous 2 and Mass Effect 2 very close behind it.
I hope Batman AC can reach that level, but I already know whats gonna be my GOTY before even playing it: Uncharted 3 baby!

For me it's a tie between Portal 2, inFamous 2 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

Arkham City, no contest so far(though tbh most other stuff worth mentioning that i've played this year was released in 2010 and I didn't get around to 'em at the time...subsequently many of this years contenders for goty I probably wont play til 2012).
If rereleases count then I'd give a shout out to Ocarina and the ICO/SHADOW collection.
My money's still on upcoming releases:'Skyward Sword','Skyrim','Super marioland', 'Mariokart' (3ds), and UNCHARTED 3.

Mass Effect 2 (came out this year on PS3 i think, January), or mabe Dark Souls, which is so addictive.

i admit that could change with Uncharted 3!

Xenoblade.
-Beautiful designed overworld.
-No boundaries on the territories you explore, so awesome.
-Amazingly crazy story-line
-Rewards-filled.
-Tons of extras to do, tons of relationships to build, this is a FULL videogame experience.
-THAT MUSIC

Dark Souls, without a shadow of a doubt. Heck, i'm even pondering which is my game of the generation, Demon's Souls or Dark Souls.

Dark Souls on PS3 and Witcher 2 on PC.
