Season 2 is damn good so far. I'll be watching the 4th episode tomorrow but the 3 eps that I saw already were awesome. Hopefully they can keep the good and bad surprises coming!

Oh man the next epsiode. I simply cannot wait now.

Dang you guys beat me to it this week. Ok I'm not one to complain about the lack of action so I'm cool there. Besides, the bursting, torn at the waist well zombie scene was both fucking disgusting and epic at the same time and totally caught me off guard. Actually right before it happened, it looked like the zombie's eyes were going to burst so that's what I was expecting.

I too am growing tired of the lost child crap, they need to find her, dead, alive or zombified, I don't care but they need to move along with that shit. Actually it would be cool if she was a walker and bit her mother like, here I am.

Yeah your boy Merle is going to make an appearance next week. My son actually said to me that it seems like he was in a dream. That's what I'm going with, Daryl is dreaming about his bro talking shit to him. Daryl is beast. I mean Boondock Saints was just the tease, I'm starting to develop a man crush on him because of this show....he's the man. I hope he stays around with the badass quotes like "better by myself" and "you got a point or are we just chatting" lol, fucking beast. Not too beastly with the Cherokee Rose but still cool enough.

Speaking of my kids, The Walking Dead has aided me in sex ed. I couldn't play it off as to why I was laughing my balls off when the Asian kid was stumbling and at a loss for words when farmer's hot daughter called him out in the pharmacy. So I calmly paused the DVR and explained condoms and people wanting to have sex with one another. My kids already know about sex but just the bare minimum, well at least until tonight when another layer of the onion got peeled back.

Oh, I meant to say something last week about Shane and his Otis secret. I have a feeling that he is going to either get caught or spill the beans to Lori (man I can't stand her). Caught by way of maybe someone that hasn't entered the picture yet saw what happened. Or maybe he fucks up his story later. The preview for next week hints at him telling Lori.

That's it for now, I'm loving the show so far and I can't imagine that changing all season.
@ John, sorry you aren't watching up to date but you'll really like this season whenever you get to watching. You should probably stay away from this thread too cause some things will spoil like zombie guts.

What was great? Hmm the pacing of the episode I guess. I'm a huge sucker for non-linear narrative. Already that was a good start for the 3rd episode...and at last, Otti's death scene. Although I wasn't actually surprised, the way they executed it with the flashbacks,background music and shane shaving his head, it is a scene to be remembered.

Well that was episode 3...or are you talking about episode 4 (cherokee rose?)

Episode 4 was kind of boring. Not too much zombie action and mainly character drama.

I feel close to the characters at this point, but not so much that development dominates an episode. It should still be all about the zombies until at least season 3.

Also, I don't feel as close to Sophia at this point, so I won't feel as bad if they don't find her or if they find her dead or a walker.

Episode 4 was okay. The well mutant zombie scene was gross and great. Besides that, not much happened. I have to ask though, why was the woman(forgot her name) so surprised at the end because of her pregnancy?

My guess is that she doesn't know who the father is.

Before her husband came back during season 1, she was getting it on with the other cop.
