Lovely-looking Level 5 / Studio Ghibli Nintendo DS and PlayStation 3 role-playing game Ni No Kuni is heading west.
Enslaved publisher Namco Bandai has signed the game for distribution in Europe and the US, Level 5 announced.
As a trademark filing hinted at earlier this month, Ni No Kuni in the West is called Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It's due out at some point in 2012.
Ni No Kuni refers to a magical world into which the hero, a 13-year-old boy called Oliver, can travel, using a magical book given to him by a fairy disguised as a doll.
Update:
Namco Bandai has issued its own announcement that it is bringing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch to Europe.
It launches in 2012 exclusively on PlayStation 3. No mention is made of the Nintendo DS version.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
