Who cares dude, how many fucking machine do you need to play games that are 20 yrs old? Move on already, you already have PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP that plays PS1 games, Sony has done enough for those games.

I gotta agree with that. (Not to mention Emulators as well)

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Impossible I say!

It's the fact that unless you own a PSP, which not everyone has, there's no way to play PSOne Classics on the go.

Hmmm.....Some confusion at Sony?

http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=2254

Q: Is PS Vita compatible with other PlayStation platform games like PS3, PS2, or PSP? Do you have any plan to support other PlayStation platforms in the future?

A: Users can play PSP titles, minis and PSone classics titles which are offered on PS Store. We do no have any plans to make PS Vita compatible with PS3 or PS2 titles at this point.

I'm going to quote this so everyone can see it again.

I had a feeling that this was false, Sony has done so much correctly with the Vita, I doubt they would f something like this up

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Wait, just because the psv "can't" play psOne games, (mistranslation granting) that's an excuse to hack the system? The mind boggles.

The mistranslation is good news.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Vita must be too weak to emulate PSone.

updated: 14.01.2012

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

Well, it won't play PSOne Classics at launch, which has been confirmed it seems in a FAQ in an issue of Famitsu not too long ago. It sounds like there will be some kind of update in the future that will allow the system to play PSOne Classics downloaded from the store.
