Forums - Sony - Uncharted 3 Campaign length revealed?!

that really sucks... it took me around 12 hours to beat Uncharted 2 on normal, getting around 3/5 of the treasures
and around 10-12 for Uncharted 1 doing the same thing.

hopefully this guy was really quick and didnt go for treasures

I was expecting 6, so I get 2-3 bonus hours!

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Pre-ordered about 1 minute after I saw the desert village gameplay. I was always buying this game but after seeing the desert village I couldn't stop my hands from going to the negameshop website and hitting the pre-order button. They just had a mind of their own.

I think this is only the 2nd game I've ever pre-ordered. Can't remember the first, but I know I'll never forget this one.

8-9 hours is a pretty good length.

Pretty good. Buthis type of game needs to be a little longer if they want it to be great! 10-12. 10 for expert gamers! Which I am not.

The OP said 8-9 hours on Normal difficulty, which is assuming that not all of the treasures are gotten and there is always Crushing difficulty, too. Not to mention that I have played through Uncharted 1 and 2 like 3 times in a row each and I know I'll be getting my money's worth. I don't know why, but Uncharted is one of those series where I can play through it 3-4 times in a row and not get tired of it.

that really sucks...so the game will be shorter than uc2???

good length but I was expecting 12 hours, but it has multiplayer so whatever lol.

this.

Hopefully that is just an estimated time for Normal mode. Add more hours to complete Hard and even more time to complete Crushing Mode.

I could get Uncharted 3 for only 30 Euros at the Releas that is quite few because normally a Game costs 50-60Euros at Releas, but I still won't buy it because I don't liked its predecessors. Uncharted 1 and 2 was boring in my opinion, I don't get why all this Reviewers gave this Games everytime such high Scores there is nothing special on this Games only the graphics are above the average.
I will save my money and don't buy Uncharted 3, I will rather spend the money on the real awesome Games like Dark Souls, Zelda skyward sword, Gears of War3, Football Manager 12 or Super Mario 3D Land ect. there are coming either way to much good Games this year, so I don't need to buy such a boring graphics Demo like Uncharted.

But that is only my opinion.

8 - 9 hours is great. ME and my lil bro beat uncharted 1 three times and uncharted 2 about 3 or 4 times as well. It's just that good because it never got stale for us, it was still exciting and playing on crushing (especially for uncharted 1) was a huge challenge. we will probably rack up 20+ hours on single player alone

its great...Uncharted got great replay value for me...the first was too short IMO...played it through in one long night...but in the end i played the story mode like 5 times...same with U2...and i think with U3 it will be the same...plus multiplayer...yes U3 will be the BOMB!
