Apple have a great os its clean smooth and just works well and fast theres no denying that and if you did your an idiot. simple, but when it comes to specs, speed, features, personalization, options etc Android has it won, whilst also being clean and smooth.

I have a flip phone.

I don't like that crap on my phone, cost too much money for data blah blah blah.

Really though, I compare it the difference from PC and Console to Android and Iphone Respectively.

Maybe it's just bad luck, But I had a 5th gen Ipod Nano, loved it and I lost it. I bought a sony, and a sandisk one, and I both find them clunkier, and certainly less cool looking, certainly more annoying to sync. But, for a hell of a lot less. The specs are similar, and I should like them equally, but I don't. This is my only apple purchase and I just that interface, but apple quit with those. and I'm just broke.:(. But, there was just something cool about that. maybe why they're worth so much. :P

I prefer PC, and I prefer simple phone. But I think their are fair points for each one.

Apple is revolutionary.... all your android devices wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for Apple (nor wm7). iTune and iPods introduced big changes to how music should be distributed. The tablet market has never seen the light before Apple. Note that I am just talking about the past 10 years not the 80s... This introduction is just for your title

Now on topic, iOS5 has finally brought some basic functions that have been missing from the device since its release (most of the functions I am talking about aren't in the video I am sure). I put up with the lack of these functions because I got a lot more in return and I invested too much money on apps, so migrating to Android just to get these features (and lose apps) wasn't worth it. Now I have those functions plus some cool stuff like iCloud.

I will not comment on the video itself because I got bored watching the first minute but this is marketing and obviously people like it. If you are to watch every introduction video for any device you will find some ridiculous stuff.

EDIT: They actually admit that a lot of devices do voice recognition dude, the rest of the video talks about how the iPhone 4s has improved on the iPhone 4. You just made a thread without watching the video, didn't you?

The voice recognition is very impressive from a technical point of view.

I'm interested as to whether it will actually be widely used though or whether people will have a bit of a problem with talking to inanimate devices.

Hmmmm, Siri voice recognition? Ha! My phone had voice recognition 7 years ago!

Yeah thats right so is the MAC , but PC is better in every way  and i use the thing that is more useful for me rather than a thing that was innovative a long time ago.

i know they said voice recognition exists , actually it exists on Iphone 4, (by the way i have an iphone 4, and an Ipad 2 and an Ipod Nano and an Ipod first generation just so you know) , if you hold the center button you will get it, but i'm talking about THIS kind of voice recognition , the one with "Text Sarah , and tell her i am going to be late for tonight" this isn't new.

If that's the case, then why are you going out of your way to misrepresent statements made by the speaker? Why do you ignore the fact that the feature is far superior to existing features?

To analogize what you said. It would be like in 2004/05, you stating: "New TVs and videogame Consoles with HD graphics? I don't care! My console had graphics back in the 1980's, this isn't new!"

Actually it would be more like

"i don't care if Apple is respounsible for the commercializing of personal computers, i use whatever the best i can use, and the best thing isn't from apple."
