Apple cool aid videos are the best. I was somewhat disappointed by the reveal of 4S but after drinking the super awesome cool aid *video* i went all warm inside. The marketing is just that good. Better than audi and closer to enticing religious feelings.

Not interested in the phone, but Siri (sp?) looks to be quite a bit smarter than the voice input in my Evo 4G. Assuming thats what the complaint is over...

Yes Apple has don this for a long time but to be far they tened to take tech that hasbeen in use for a time and make it more user firendly then it was before for the most part.  

I agree with you sir but as i am an iphone user for past 3 years. I do poke fun at them and all the other brands i own or endorse  including me as a human being. It keep's a check on the blatant bragging culture we have developed these days and everyone can use a bit of humility. :)

I think they did however copy some of the features and called them original. I mean i can't blame them as notifications will be called notifications and one just has to run a top down finger on screen to see them. Oh well i should stop talking. My previous paragraph seems much better. 

Well my phone already does this its on Android 2.3

Got a custom firmware on mine with 2.3 as well, but watching the Siri demo it seems to be quite a bit more advanced. Not that its really a big deal either way, but the demo was pretty solid. Here is a an article talking about the two:

However, the difference early reviewers seem to be seeing between the two applications isn't in the commands, but in their functionality. Where Voice Actions only recognizes commands when the speaker uses specific vocabulary in a specific configuration, Siri's AI technology allows for a broader - and therefore more natural - range of language. Apple products blog TUAW compiled a list of sample phrases, the most impressive of which included "Reschedule my appointment with Dr. Manning to next Monday at 9am," "Cancel the budget review meeting," "What does the rest of my day look like?", and "Mail Lisa and Jason about the party and say I had a great time."
