While unofficially Kinect can already run on PC, MS is going to do the far more significant move of officially porting it to Windows quite soon. What does this mean? Maybe does MS wish to turn it into the new, autonomous gaming platform and drop XBox altogether? Will the next MS gaming architecture consist in simply adding a Kinect (or better the next Kinect 2.0 that could have the on board processing power removed from Kinect 1.0 during development to cut costs) to whatever Windows running device the user has available? Possibly selling just to a subset of users a complete, but more expensive, Kinect+Windows device bundle?
MS licenses Kinect to TV Manufacturers. They even might license Xbox 720 specs. Maybe Nokia???

I'm just kidding but seems like PS3 won 2011.
It's clear that this overtracking can't be erased by the 360 and that the PS3 is above.
