Forums - Gaming - Android 4.0 and the Nexus Prime (Updated!! Verizon confirmed; Nov 3rd launch!)

Coming from a nexus one, I can safely say i am looking forward to the prime. With that said...those specs are far from confirmes. Those are from a source that BGR Posted. Since then GSM Arena has posted supposed specs which are more in line with earlier reports.

differences being 1.5GHz vs 1.2
8 megapixel vs 5
2050mAh battery vs 1750mAh

My point being...nothing is officially confirmed and we should wait till Tuesday for all the details.

Specs wise this rapes any phone out there if true. But like I said, best specs don't guarantee you will have the "best" phone. Not at all.

Looking very good. Am exited to see what they bring and how well it works.

Really?  The screen is the only thing it has on most phones available right now,  everything else other phones already have and some even exceed.  My phone is a dual core 1,2GHz with 1GB or ram with the same camera specs(Mine actually has dual 5MP cameras).  And will get upgraded to Android 4.0 when available,  plus it even has a 3D screen.

Yeah I saw that too, just a bit ago. However, BGR has a very good track record with these things.... however, its interesting to see what will be there next tuesday.

Im guessing you have HTC Evo 3D which is nice too. However the CPU in that device is less efficient than the TI OMAP in the NExus Prime which is actually downclocked from the default 1.5 clock speed. This results in poorer battery life for the HTC. Dual cameras also apparently aren't very good, despite being 3D capable...but I've read this, not comfirmed it in person.

In any case, both devices are stacked to the teeth with very current specs and if one wants to be in a spec war, both would fare well.
