Not sure. I know Eli Manning said before the year started that he was an "Elite" quarterback, on the same level as Brady and the media pretty much laughed at him. Even up until yesterdays game they had him ranked behind Brady, Rothlisberger, Rodgers, Peyton and Brees, yet here he is, in the Superbowl again. In another 60 minutes he could have earned as many Superbowl rings as Big Ben (He was only along for the ride with his 1st one), have more than Rodgers or Brees and be (1) behind Brady. Not to mention he has a shot to pass up his brother Peyton. Plus, to make things even better, he could end up earning both of his rings against a quarterback the media claimed he isn't on the same level as.

Take that haters.

Yeah, take that haters.

I said it before, Eli is better than people give him credit for.

I think the media dislikes him because he is very quiet, he doesn't say much, not to mention no matter what they say, it appears that nothing bothers him.

Sounds like the gaming media and Nintendo during the heights of the DS and Wii, so you are most certainly right.

Well, we got an apology from one guy last night after the game for doubting him, so that alone sets them apart.

*yaaaawwwnnnnn*

Well football season is over. I couldn't care less who wins the superbowl now.

Williams and Cundiff are both goats. I would much rather it have been 49ers vs Ravens/Pats

QUOTED FOR THE MOTHER FUCKING TRUTH!!!

Eli was brilliant yesterday, I'll give ther 49'ers some cred as the defense was great in the 2nd half(not that is was bad in the 1st half and they probably could've won if it wasn't for the muff punt and fumble) I agree on what the guy said on ESPN(forgot is name) on NFL Primetime "this was probably  Eli's greatest match this year" on the road, playing through rain, slight wind, and a sloppy field, where the running game was greatly slowed and he still managed to to pull out a win!!!(and yes I'm a giants fan)

it's going to be a tough one, but I know the G-men can beat the Patriots, they did it in the regular season and we can do it again

Now I am listening to the haters calling up and claiming that Eli is only going to the Superbowl again because of his defense...

Yeah, we all know that Brady won his (3) rings with no defense and we all know full well that the Steelers had no defense as well. Eli had help, the others did it all on their own.

Patriots are on fire.

Thier season proves it. tonight a good example
they didn't have to do all the work and they still won the game

in the Denver game they did the oposite . they ran all over the opponents.

I think they left their A game tonight to use it at the superbowl .

if giants use Eli Manning who is sick , they will not win. the way they played tonight they barely won.

and if we compared the two teams performances patriots have a 3 point lead. if they mirror their performances respectively Patriots look to win it.

On fire?? They won because of a missed field goal that my 90 yr old granny could make. Worst part is they were the home team. Brady threw about 4 picks (2 didn't count because of "flags").

Brady looked flustered the whole game and was throwing errant passes everywhere, Baltimore loss that game, Pats didn't win.

Eli isn't sick....Brady has a bad left shoulder...Giants went up against the better defensive team, on the road, in the rain and wind, on a muddy field and still won.

Manning was hit 22 times and sacked 6 times and he just kept getting up and going to work to finish that game off.

The superbowl will be a shootout no doubt but G-Men got this.

I'm still amazed how that kicker missed the FG...that look like a simple 3 points...did you see the look on Suggs face?

Both championship games were great. It's such a shame that one guy is being blamed in each of the losses. I hate to see it when one guy is singled out.

Yeah, the media likes to focus on that. It's the quick and easy answer but in reality both teams had opportunities to do things better, like usual. I agree that both were great games.

Eli is no joke either, people like to shit on him because he's goofy looking and his demeanor but I trust in Eli, a ton. Dude has been clutch not to mention tough as nails. If he plays like he's been and beats the Pats again with the Golden Boy in the SB.....I don't ever wanna hear anything negative about him again. I was so stoked that he shoved it right up Tiki's ass 4 yrs. ago.
