Forums - Sports - The NFL Thread 2011: New York Giants Win Super Bowl XLVI

Ugh...Oh well Giants beat us fair and square, actually we beat ourselves with drop passes and fumbles. By far the worst the Pack have played all season and one hell of a time to do it.

Well, that wasn't as fun of a game as I thought. The Packers turned the ball over far too many times, and the refs had some seriously awful calls (no fumble/roughing the passer as pointed out earlier). Plus, the Giants just walked all over them. They made a few mistakes, but otherwise had a really great game. I suppose the game isn't quite over, but three scores down with less than three minutes... there isn't much of a chance.

Even though I picked the Packers to win it was quite fun watching the Giants give them a beatdown

Its possible that it can be an all Harbaugh Superbowl.... or a rematch of Pats vs Giants

That was phenomenal defense by the Giants. The Packers were just playing sluggish offensively and defensively. Plenty of dropped catches, and plenty of terrible throws by Rogers. Manning had a really good game.

Hehehehehe. Everything is turning up all 49ers. Yet another home game. Sorry Eli, but your season ends Saturday at 5:30 ET.

I'm not going to hurt him, the 49ers are going to and I could have sworn it was 5:30 ET, but maybe I just converted it to Central time in my head when they said it on TV. Thanks for clearing it up for me though, so I can watch the Giants demise. 49 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER.

Would love to see Eli ruin Brady's dreams again, but I think Baltimore will get the honor.

I hope so since they are the team left that has not had a the championship for the longest period of time.
