Nintendo's customers are the ones who are most likely to flock towards phone/tablet games, and Nintendo will struggle to attract your typical Xbox/PlayStation buyer.*

Yea, after reading it another time I noticed a problem with almost every sentence.

"Nintendo are banking on classics such as Mario Kart, Super Mario and Zelda to beat off the competition from Sony's PS Vista"

"Nintendo are heading in the same direction"

I suppose he doesn't even realize Nintendo is a single company.

The title gives it away easy.

I guess the problem with the second sentence is the verb that should be "is"?

For me "space of time" was the best error.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Yea, he should be using is instead of are.  He also doesn't even know the correct name of Sony's next hand held system.

Yup, this, Nintendo have a small dedicated userbase of probably under 20 million (at least for consoles) unless Nintendo came up with a console that hit it off like Wii again could they sustain generation after generation with a 20 mill userbase?

WiiU will do more than 20 mill for sure, it still has remenents of the wii, but they can't live off of that forever. Sony have a loyal market in EMEAA and Microsoft have Xbox Live in America, BOTH are stable and I don't care what anyone says it isn't 'all to play for' concerning those two in those regions.

Oh dear...

There is no proof of that stament, that is just you basing on the Wii's late performance, of course, Wii sold on hype and motion controls, but stating Nintendo's loyal fanbase isn't as big as Sony or MS is just a wishful guess.

In the end anyway, loyal fanbase aren't always the ultimate factor.

Nintendo's fanbase didn't mind moving to the PS1.

Sony's fanbase didn't mind moving to the Wii.

Nitendo's fanbase won't mind moving on if WiiU doesn't have what they wish. Or staying, if they get a great product.

It is ok not liking Nintendo, but saying the solid fanbase isn't as big as Sony's or MS's is just pathetic, a poster of your status should know better.

When in doubt I will hit the return button.

It makes it look like a professional article even if I'm an an idiot.

People will more likely read my article if it isn't a wall of text.

My name is Faisal Alani.

I love the return button.

He makes some good points. Nintendos Mario/Zelda games are a blessing and a curse. They sell so much that there's no room for 3rd party games to sell......

Honestly, would it really be a bad idea if Nintendo became a software company lets say....10 years from now? I don't think there's room for 3 consoles in the market.

Then Sony or MS need to go

Why not? Three consoles did fine all together this generation.
