Exactly how hard?
Lately been playing way too much of MAG no idea why this game is addicting, it's a solid game, I'm not big on shooters I just wanted one for when I felt like it and ended up playing it an insane amount since I got it awhile ago. I like the modes and everything but sometimes I just hate my team, it's like they are insanely stupid sometimes and there's nothing I can do about it and it just sucks. But what's worse then that is when I am doing absolutely horrible and my team is winning by alot, makes you feel really small and useless lol.
Also been playing resident evil original, and I just have to say this the ingame story and the voice acting is absolutely horrible, so, so bad and also the bad aiming and digital for walking annoy me but it's still a really great game. Games have become way too easy and too afraid of puzzles, people aren't stupid and if they are they can use a guide.

Lmao, yeah the animations are so fluid and lifelike, your eyes can't even comprehend it. :)

Yea if your not doing the turn as fast as you think you can, you are either not turning in wide enough, not hiting the apex, or plain just going to slow. Remember mid-engined ares are suppose to drift a bit, that's why they corner better. By putting the rear end of the car in a mild 5 -10 degree drift, your car is pointing directly to where you want to be turning, and as a result the power put down by the engine is more efficiently used. Another tip is in multi-turn zig-zag sections, keep your car as straight as possible. Again turn in the first turn wide (trust me, you need to go wider then you might initially expect), and then floor it as early as possible. The straighter the line, the earlier you can floor it. |
Thanks for all the advice! I finally got past the License A-8 challenge I was having trouble with and I'm now working on License IC-3. Just 3 1000ths of a second away!!!!! *cries*

Resistance 3: Just a great game, definitely the best in the series. Its gritty and dark, but at the same time arcadey and fun.
ICO: Not much to be said about this game, Its fantastic, one of the best games I've ever had the privilege to play. If you've played it you'll understand. The controls didn't age well but I never expected them to, but the graphics are still beautiful and the soundtrack is just majestic. I cant wait to play SOTC.
| Marks said: Battlefield 3 Beta - Absoluuuuuute gaaaarbage son, do yourself a service and don't play it. I'm not saying the full game will be this bad but the beta is terrible. Its a slow paced campfest, where you spend like 1/4 of the time running looking for enemies, and most of your deaths are assholes camping in bushes or just randomly prone in a hard to see area. I know some of my hate for this game comes from my preference of run and gun games (CoD, Killzone, Halo, etc.) but there are better tactical games out there than this if thats what you like (Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for example) Modern Warfare 2 - Yeah I went back to this "classic" after I quit Black Ops. If you get a lobby with no noob tubers, commando knifers or 1337 Grizz OpTic Kwiksc0perzz then its a fun game, but 90% of the time lobbies are full of straight assholes that use in game exploits to make everyone else annoyed. Can't wait till MW3; no commando, noob tubes are nerfed (no danger close + there is a blast shield perk like Flak Jacket in BO) and an overhauled killstreak/pointstreak system. Those are what I'm playing now. I'm soooo bored with my current games. MW2 is bad, BF3 beta is bad, NHL 12 is fun in small doses (gets frustrating fast if you keep losing), and GTA4 is great but I'm not playing it as much anymore. I can't wait for Forza 4 in about 2 weeks. |
I've been playing the Battlefield 3 beta and MW2 online recently and I agree with you 100%.
Why are online players such a bunch of assholes? All they do is camp, exploit weapons and perks and insult you. I know this sounds funny coming from a 15 year old, but I blame the kids, they are overcompetitive, care more about kills than playing the game properly and they have no damn respect whatsoever.

Trying to finish off Super Paper Mario right now and currently almost done with the 5th chapter. I've seen a lot of people put the game down (due to not being like the N64/GCN version). However, I am enjoying almost every minute of the game so far. I would give the game at least a 8.8/10.
I'm currently playing Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten.
I'm about 60 hours into the game though I'm not sure how far into the main story I've progressed. So far I'm really liking it. The gameplay picks up where Disgaea 3 left and gets some pretty good upgrades. Most notable are the monster classes. In the first game, monster classes were essentially worthless and with each installment, they've become much better. Disgaea 3 had a chance to give them even more potential with magichange, but the mechanic ended up being useless as magichanging often left players with inferior weapons, but in Disgaea 4, that's usually not the case and monsters can even fuse and cause more chaos.
I was curious to see how the online portion would work and I'm actually a bit relieved that the vs. battles are AI controlled and that we don't have to challenge people who are online. The online components really make the Senate hearings a lot more entertaining and its actually a bit useful as we have the potential to receive items from other players. Heck, it can even be used as a way to ask for help filling up that glossary when finding one particular item is very hard.
Lastly, the sprites. The hand drawn sprites perfectly match the game and look absolutely brilliant. Its really great to see Takehito Harada's art come to life and seeing the numerous animations, it must have been hell for him to do all that by hand. It makes me wonder if he had any help. The graphics still aren't "OMG FREAKIN' AWESOME", but considering how Disgaea 3 looked, Disgaea 4 is leaps and bounds better. I tried using the classic sprites and I wanted to throw up. I can't even play Disgaea 3 anymore without my eyes hurting.
I don't think I need to do go into much more detail, so in short I can easily say is that this what Disgaea 3 should have been. With Disgaea 4, it all the more makes it look like Disgaea 3 was just a beta game much like what KOFXII is to XIII.

Both games I'm looking forward to playing soon. Except R3 in co-op. Finally they brought back co-op, I was worried for the franchise with R2.
