I have to wonder exactly how big these untapped markets can be, especially for sports games. We know that PES is huge in Latin America. PES 2010 sold 600k down there (speaking of which, it still hasn't been adjusted last time I checked). I would say a move like this is almost certain to pay off for EA.

in the middle east, everyone loves football. so much so that MOST people buy a console just to play PES/Fifa games all year.

yeah its sadly the only thing most of them know for fun hobby, because its free and you can play it anywhere.
