i just cant figure out whether i like the game or not. ive mentioned it in another thread, but i just dont feel involved in the game world and non of the quests have been intersting enough for me to care for the outcome. Also im yet to meet a NPC that has personality and that a care about. Also im hardly leveling up because im finding im just wondering around for long periods of time before doing anything.

Ill keep putting time into till friday and if im still struggling to get into then, then ill swap my attention to Assassins creed:Revelation.

I'm sad to hear that! I am enjoying every minute and I am really immersed into the world. I have been spedning most of my time wondering around Whiterun searching for alchemy ingredients and been doing basic crafting.

Currently lvl 9 with 17 hours total play time on Master difficulty. I haven't fast traveled even once.

Yeah im also sad myself that im feeling this way, but im not giving uo just yet because i loved oblivion and fallout thats the confusing thing, also ive had it preordered since march and really thought that it could be a personal GOTY contender. So like i said im going to put at least 2 hours into a day till friday to try get into it.

Can't wait until I get home tonight so I may play some more. Have to stay a couple of hours extra at work today which sucks. :(

I have so many things I want to do in Skyrim.

Why is everyone leveling so slowly?

There are some hilarious glitches and bugs appearing now, the best one yet was when a dragon skeleton in the middle of the street in Riverwood bounced up as I entered through quick travel, killing a city guard. Another guard sprinted up to me; "Do you know anything about this?! I have my eye on you!"

I'm well over 30 hours into it now (level 32) and I've uncovered quite a few annoying things that wasn't really an issue in previous games but all in all its enjoyable and fun.

There are too many distractions in the game. Again I was determined to set out of Winterborn college last night, 3 hours later I'm still no closer. Every time a black icon pops up on the radar I have no choice but to check it out :)

after 30 hours i was level 16. it's because everyone plays it a different way. i bet you do a lot of quests and main quest a swell maybe. i don't do a lot of this. i only walk along the streets and often when i see a new location i don't go to it i just won't insta explore everything when i see it. then i never use fast traveling or even a horse so if i decide to do a quest i need long time to come back from there.

Haven't played more than two or three parts of the main quest and haven't really done a lot of sidequests either to be honest. I rarely explore things when I find them and just make a mental note to check it out later (I have a lot of mental notes now...).

Game keeps crashing now though, don't know what's up with it today.

btw i collect all books which level up and put them in my house. that are some nice bookshelfes in my house :)

@mummelmann

hmm ok then it's maybe what we do. maybe leveling up is easier with magic or so? i don't use it only playing with bow and small sword. or the difficulty? i play it harder than the starting difficulty.

I play a stealth character, mainly use the bow and sneak all the time. My bow damage is crazy now, I kill giants in two shots and one-shot almost every standard enemy in the game. Even the dragons die pretty quickly, but so do I if I get caught in their breath for too long since I've mainly upgraded my stamina before health.

The bow is ridiculously powerful in this game, I get base damage of 87 with upgraded Ebony bow now, X3 with sneak attack...

still dont have the game -.- if i dont have it by tomorow il go crazy

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

ok then we play the same style as well. like i said i play with bow as well and sneak as well. but overpowering is always a bad idea. for example i would never uprade the bow damage perk. every upgrade increases it with 20% i think. only using the points for the zoom perks, more arrows in the dead bodys and so on.

i'm level 25 or so now and have more than 10 points for perks i didn't use because i don't need them and if i would use them i would overpower my character.
