1. Still no spell check on maps and search

2. Actual spell check is not nearly as good as windows phone 7s which gives you a slew of words to choose as well as pick the most obvious one. Iphone only picks 1 word and is wrong most of the time.

3. Sorry I meant every time you want to purchase an app. you can't save your password for app purchases which is idiotic. Also, very few apps have trials where on windows phone every app has a trial mode.

4. No one doubts the apple store is amazing but I prefer to have features integrated than having to spend hours in the app store looking for apps to do things. If I just took a picture I don't want to have to save it so I can open facebook app, log in, find the picture and post it. I want to take pic, choose "post to facebook" and move on.

5. Lock screen still doesn't tell you shit other than a text message that may come in or an appointment and time. WP7 lists a slew of things on the start screen.

6. I have a work phone which is email locked. I can not set up a personal email account on it. Therefore I can't sync with gmail or hotmail. Only work exchange. Only way for me to get my personal numbers on to this iphone would be through the sim or manually to enter than in to work contacts, which isn't ideal. So yeah, importing sim contacts while old and outdated, can be useful, despite what you and Apple think.

Also, I buy monster PCs because there is no other way to run 3 monitors in 3D. However there are other ways for people to do pretty much everything iphone does, besides buying iphone 5.

The english spell checker works perfectly for me, I type the wrong letters the whole time but the checker gets it correctly 99% of the time.

I will buy the next iPhone because I am assuming that it will have a dual core processor to render big pdf files more smoothly than my current iphone 4 does. Hoping for a bigger screen too. The camera is already pretty cool, according to the reports , the next one is gonna be a lot better.

You do understand that Android does all those better right? I even have a finger print scanner on my Atrix 4G lol. My phone is slick as shit too and takes good pictures or HD videos. I mean shit, I can have mumble and vent on it lol, iPhone doesn't even have good options for those.

I have a Motorolla Milestone (Droid) as well which I used for about 4 months before windows phone came out last year. My feelings about android are mixed.

On one hand, yeah it does all that and then some. Its a very robust platform with abilities upon abilities.

On the other hand, user experience and features depend on ones willingness to spend time on setting them up. If you invest hours upon hours on flashing, downloading and setting everything up, it will work well. If you just want it to work out of the box with no time invested, you may have issues doing basic things...like opening PDFs. I literally spend 30 minutes at one point trying to open a PDF which for some reason wouldn't open unless it was saved on the memory card rather than phone memory.

So I wouldn't say that it does everything "better". Just that it can do everything better if you have time make it better yourself. Out of the box I'd personally choose an Iphone over Motorolla Milestone or any android as I don't enjoy fiddling with these devices as much as I used to.

That phone is old son! Doesn't even have gingerbread on it man. I never have issues opening pdf on mine =P. Rooting is also easier and the access is much better than Jailbreaking. Also, this is a personal thing, but you already know I think the GUI is nothing short of atrocious on the new Windows phone and the upcoming Windows 8........ they really need to fire whoever designed that monstrocity and change the whole fucking thing.

Lol. Yeah its old, it ran 2.1 quite sluggish. Then I tried to instal CyanogenMod on to it and that made it actually worse so said screw it, used my nokia e71 for a month and then become an early adoper of the windows phone 7.

You may be right that newer phones are better but ill wait till they figure this Android tug and pull fragmentation out before I commit to that ecosystem again.

I personally really want to see what that new quad-core nvidia chip can do, if the performance is that much higher at the same power usage and a phone has high MP cameras to support that power, then I'd be super happy to go right to it.

I see this being usefull for tablets and PCs but I am not sure my phone needs quad core lol.

I already do pretty much everything I want on the singe core 1 ghz smaprtphone.

Camera though is something I can see needing improvement. I'll never understand why a 5 megapixel dedicated camera rapes a 5 megapixel cell phone one.
