Forums - Gaming - Resistance 3 will be the LAST shooter i buy on launch............0_o

as title above^

every shooter i buy its always a case of playing through campain in a few days, then getting near 10h on multiplayer then thats it its over for me i get bored, i dont usually play through again on harder difficulties so its finished for me

mabey i dont like them any more as i used to, paying £39.99 for upto nearly a weeks worth of gaming isnt good value

it was the same with call of duties, battlefields, gears - i think il go cheaper preowned from now on or may have a look at rental services

how long do shooters usually last you?

back to white knight chrolicles 2 + agarest zero methinks!

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I don't play many shooters but yeah, that doesn't seem like very good value to me either

I agree with you! Shooters aren't worth it unless you are crazy about the online. I bought Wolfenstein first week after launch and it took me only 11 hours on SP and maybe another 10 with the poor MP.

BF3 is the exception. Probably going to spend at least 200 hours on its MP.

Depends on the shooter.

I still play Reach 1 year after launch.

The £40 I spent on that game has probably given me about 800 hours of gaming and counting.

Medal Of Honour has probably given me 100 or so.

If anything RPG's and platform games give me the shortest playtimes at between 20 - 40 hours.

I've put about 150 hours into black ops after 7 months.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

i always wait for price drops on software. i've only bought 1 retail priced game and was disappointed, and i've been taught to wait for a reasonable price before purchase.

I sincerely hope that ultimatum doesn't extend to BioShock Infinite.

The only FPS games I will ever buy at launch are Killzone games. I absolutely love them for the universe, characters, story, and gameplay. I'm not a big multiplayer guy so all FPS games are doomed to be 20 bucks for me.

I don't really play that many shooters. Black Ops has lasted me forever and I'm still playing it online.
