It's pretty much a given that U3 will take everything from the second game and improve upon that, too. It just depends on how much. How much better will the graphics get? How much better will the online get? How good will the story be? I can see some reviewers marking the game down because the story may be predictable or the gameplay may be too familiar or because they want people to come to their site (Like how one movie review site gave Toy Story 3 a scathing review just to get attention). Uncharted 3 is faced with the burden of having huge expectations placed upon it because it follows a game that did everything so unexpectedly well. If that's the case, so be it. We all know that we are getting one of the year's best games, no matter what the reviewers say. |
