3) Mad Men Season 5

-A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper.-

Sounds interesting, and holy crap..a 8.9 user score on imdb!Might check it out myself

It has even better scores on metacritic. It's pretty boring for the most part though.

Well if you don't have patience for those kinds of shows I guess it could be a bit boring. But I get sucked right in and don't find it boring at all

Oh, I have lots of patience. I'm currently watching season 4. It's just that it's so uncaptivating, and the acting is blad, wodden and emotionless. And Don Draper is the biggest Gary Stu I've seen in a while.

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

I cannot get into Mad men either. I don't know I just don't like it I guess. It seems fine, but maybe I need to force myself through two episodes or something?

Nah,never do that.Only if some people tell you that it gets a LOT better later in the series.

Sometimes it does help to watch a few episodes. This show does win a lot of emmys.

If you don't like it you don't have to watch it. Many people do like it but that doesn't mean you have to like it too!

1. Dexter: Season Six

A likable Miami police forensics expert moonlights as a serial killer of criminals whom he believes have escaped justice.

2. White Collar: Season 3 (Show is in a mid-season break)

A white collar criminal agrees to help the FBI catch other white collar criminals using his expertise as an art and securities thief, counterfeiter and racketeer.

3. Mad Men: Season Five

A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper.

Edit: Also The Walking Dead: Season Two, and of course Top Gear Series 18

Well, if you've started watching season 1, I can tell you that the Pilot episode is horrendeous. It does get better, but the only episode of season 1 I really enjoyed was the finale. It's not a terribly captivating series IMHO.

That's mainly because it's never really had much competition. Boardwalk Empire will surely give it a run for it's money this Sunday at the Emmys. Boardwalk Empire won 7 Emmys already at the Creative Arts Emmys (where they give out the technical awards) that took place last Saturday, which is an absolute record for a TV series. Mad Men only won 1.
