I'm so happy they're making more Fire Emblem :)

I like the battle animations more than PoR & RD's ugly animations :3 - - - Was kinda worried cuz it's 3D but so far so good! :D

more fire emblem is always a good thing

In the second video, you can see that you can walk on the world map again (like in Sacred Stones). This might be a bad sign even though the encounter in this footage looks like a part of the actual story.

Also, the level up info that pops up looks vastly different than usual. That's kinda worrying too.

Think of it this way: if they're trying new things for the series' appeal, that'll make localization more likely

I don't quite like the idea of a world map, though it could work out well if they made it into a "grand strategy" sort of thing, where maybe you'll have to pick and choose which places to attack or defend and see the story effected by those choices

Double battles would work out well for bosses, instead of having to pile in one at a time...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

maaaan... there better be a tower thing again. kinda makes sense since every FE setting gets 2 games a sacred stones didnt get one.

Instabuy for me indeed.

The footage in the videos look good and I liked the music too. The level-up box was missing some stats though?

Same here... really wanted to like that game, but something about it just doesn't work.

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

This and Paper Mario are the reasons why I have to get a 3ds. I enjoyed Sacred Stones though...
Not nearly as much as Radiant Dawn or PoR, but still more than SD.

It's worth noting that the game isn't set in Magvel, though. You're linking a fake source in your opening post. The "new Fire Emblem set in Magvel" rumour started a couple of weeks before FE13 was announced, and as it roughly coincided with the announcement, a lot of people started believing the rumour was true.

Nintendo has confirmed it's not, though. It's set in a completely new kingdom named something ala "Iris". Or well, that's what the people over at serenesforest translate it to.

Apart from that, it's kind of interesting that none of the videos (as far as I can tell) show anyone doubling. It looks like Intelligent Systems is changing up a lot more this time than they've done in the past. Which is good, because usually when they add stuff, it's great. The shame has previously been that they've simplified the gameplay a bit for the handheld editions (the GBA titles were undeniably less complicated than the SNES ones, and the DS ones were less complicated than the Wii ones), but that doesn't look to be the case here.

New continent, new artstyle, large changeup in gameplay. That's definitely good, because changing it so much definitely makes a EU/US localization seem more likely.
