Skyward Sword requires Wii Motion Plus, but only the limited edition will come bundled with it.

Will this hurt the next Zelda's sales?

I know a good chunk of the Zelda fanbase is very loyal and will purchase this to play it. But this could still potentially hurt sales, as many people who intend to get it will be put off by the requirement of purchasing extra hardware, either because they are casual players or because they don't love Zelda as much as to pay that littñe extra.

I would say no. Given Sports Resort's attach rate, i would doubt that there are casual consumers that have enough interest in Zelda but not enough interest in Sports Resort to not have a motion plus by now, or at least a statistically insignificant number

The game is being bundled with WM+ so if you (For whatever reason) don't have it you can buy that. Which I believe is $20 cheaper then buying them separate

if you are casual or you don't love Zelda then you wont buy it even if it was bundled only and cheaper..

well it can't help sales that it requires a peripheral.

With all the the shitty games, that sell so good, they have putted it in there's no way that you can't have at least one.

In the standard edition the bundle doesn't even it the standard price. Only haters will find an excuse to not buy it.
