Forums - Nintendo - What type of pokemon trainer are you?

So i bought i 3ds.

Ive gotten Mario Kart,Super mario bros and Pokemon white ANYWAYS.

i was just wondering at what people types of pokemon people deside to train up and so on right now ive got

Scarfty        lvl 48 Dark/fighting
Serperior    lvl 36 Grass
Tranquill     lvl 26 Normail/flying

I used to be a lover of rock pokemon but none of the new ones really make me want one.

I am one that searches always the pokèmon to add for having a better chanche with any kind of trainer that i maybe enconter.

Recently, in fact, i have changed 4 out of 6 in my roster, i'm training the new 4 and now i have:

Gurdurr lvl 46 Fighting
Victribell lvl 67 Grass/Poison
Ampharos lvl 46 Electro
Unfezant lvl 75 Normal/Flying
Bheeyem lvl 48 Psychic

Various types for all the situations.

Spiders den are not for men.

I think my sig is self explanatory

Dragon all the way, there's pretty much little that can stand against them, and if properly trained, IV and EV raised and careful Nature selection through breeding, my team has become an unstoppable force.

Here's how my team is shaped up:

Garchomp, level 80, Dragon/Ground
Salamence, level 81, Dragon/Flying
Hydreigon, level 85, Dragon/Dark
Druddigon, level 70, Dragon
Kingdra, level 82, Dragon/Water
Haxorus, level 85, Dragon

Their move pool are shaped up to take advantage against all types, and while Dragon types are essentially weak to Ice and Dragon alone (and I have two 4x weakness against Ice with Garchomp and Salamence), it's compensated by the sheer amount of resistances and even immunities (Hydreigon is immune to Physic and Ghost attacks).

Plus, given that I've properly raised them with careful selection of IV's, EV's on the proper stats and good Natures, some of them have amazing stats such as Haxorus having 398 Attack at level 85, Hydreigon having 345 Sp. Attack at level 85, Garchomp has 285 Speed at level 80, Salamence has 275 Speed and 315 Attack at level 81 and so on.

I like having a good mix of types but I think dragon types are the best

I also tend to choose better looking Pokemon for my team

I've always favored Dark or Ghost, a holdover from the days when Psychic was the broken type. Now Dragon is the broken type, and i quite detest them (sorry lestat!), though you have to have a dragon around to deal with the dragons that are too broken to fight with Ice (fucking, fucking Ghetsis and your goddamn Hydreigon)

In the end i went with: Emboar, Krookodile, Swanna, Zekrom, Celebi, Weavile

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Hehehehe, no problem.

It's true that Dragon's are amongst the most broken types out there, but I think they still don't hold a candle to Dark. Your Weavile, properly trained could do a disgraceful number on my team, especially with the quick attackesque Ice Shard, since the downfall of a Dragon pokemon is overall low-average defense and Sp.Def stat. And let's not talk about Krookodile...that one's a beast, especially if you put Outrage on it >_<.

I like using dragon, steel and dark types...they're so cool!!!!!!

"I don't know what this Yamcha is, but it sounds just like Raditz."

I'm fucking neurotic about how I train pokemon. I always have 6 of them and I keep them at even levels. I order them by least amount of XP needed for a rank up and put the pokemon closest to leveling up first in my lineup. Then when they level up they move to the back.

There's just no way in hell I could have like a level 50, a level 30, a level 40...etc. I would much rather have six Level 40's.

I'm the same way. First thing i do when i get a new Pokemon is to bring it up at least into the ballpark of what i have (and my ballpark is usually within 3 levels or so), and after that try to keep everyone perfectly synchronized, although i don't allow my OCD in that regard to overcome common sense (e.g. if it's time to level for the Electric Gym, i'll get my ground type, and only my ground type, up as high as it needs to be to clean out the gym, then bring everyone else up to match afterwards)

Dark types all the way! *puts on DarkGlasses*

Weavile
Tyranitar
Zoroark
Spiritomb
Hydreigon
Drapion/Scrafty

Dark types are awesome! Don't mess with me! RAWR!
