the time travel feature has got my attention.

Based on these screenshots and the time travel mechanic, i am impressed... it has a nice Chrono feel to it. however i'm not keen on the characters. personally i cant really see myself getting this game in the bargain bin, if at all. and thats a big IF at the moment. so i think Sqaure are asking a lot if they think all the stuff that people criticised about FF13 will be forgiven and forgotten for the sequel.

Interesting concept. However, I'm gonna wait for reviews and definitely a price drop with this one.

Actually 'more Noel' is the bigger problem. I think I've had it with these teenage boys that look like girls. They are OK side characters but horrible main characters.

Besides, Lightning's behaviour in FFXIII was pretty understandable. First her sister becomes l'Cie, then she becomes one herself. I think she grew out of that role quite nicely during the game. Also, I liked the fact that she wasn't a traditional game girl. Of course this is just an opinion, despite understanding Hope's situation I could still not help being greatly annoyed by his behaviour. In Lightning's case, I didn't have that problem (possibly because she didn't whine all the time and because she didn't go to that far).

But they sold more than 6 million units of Final Fantasy XIII...

We'll see how many of those 6 mil return for the sequel. personally i dont see it selling well

But I am still getting it, I liked XIII so I reckon I will like this one too
