Yeah heard the same but it nor the new TDKR were shown in front of Avengers in the UK, probably because we got The Avengers a week early & in that week the trailers weren't out.

Might see it if our plan on seeing Titanic 3D for the 2nd time (LOLOL) on Wednesday actually happens

Report back here when (if) that happens

Not gonna happen, just checked & Titanics gone from cinemas in the town I'm in.

The next movie I even expect to see in cinemas is Prometheus now, which isn't in 3D is it?

$80.5 Million Friday for Avengers CONFIRMED.

OW Record is toast, buh-bye potter!

With this a $190 Million OW looks likely.

TDKR should take us into the $200 Million OW era just like Spider-Man 1 took us into the $100 Million OW era 10 years ago.

Back to Avengers now...

In terms of Attendance (so tickets sold) the Friday ranks 7th...below... Spider-Man 3 (tehehe), The Dark Knight, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith (*SWOONS*), New Moon (*spits*), Pirates: Dead Mans Chest, and Transformers 2 (*vomits*)

That shouldn't take away from the achievement of the movie though as the word of mouth could make for some legs taking to a high $400 Million total.

Looks like I underestimated it by $7.5M =(. VERY NICE. Big chances that this year ends up as the biggest grossing year yet with The Hunger Games,The Avengers,The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Hobbit Pt. 1.

And Breaking Dawn Part II :P

Our bet seriously depends on how things work out for THG this weekend.

If it has a drop bigger than 45% due to The Avengers,I think it's highly unlikely that it will reach $400M.

Damn it,I always forget about the Twilight movies. But I guess it won't matter that much if it doesn't gross over $300M in NA.

It's looking at a 33% drop according to estimates.
