JW's weekend numbers got adjusted up.  Its like the third or fourth week that it happened.  It still needs to make $34.6 million more domestically to surpass Titanic's domestic grand total.

Unfortunately it will need UNiversal/Legendary's help for it to surpass Titanic. Meaning they need to increase the theatre count to a thousand or so more near the end of JW's run for it to surpass it. If they don't then JW will only end up with 644m+ by it's 16th week. I arrived with this estimate by comparing its gross to The Avengers 8th week in which it earned almost the same amount in its weekend. From then on until its 17th week it grossed 19m more. Disney expanded its screen count to a further 1700 screens after that which is why it was able to get to 623m+. If Disney did not expand it then TA would not have reached even 618m.

Chances are they won't use their resources in that regard. Universal is one of the more modest studios when it comes to grosses.

Well it has Legendary, a studio which is very generous when giving out screens. They expand ALL of their movies all the time. Question is, if they have enough power to do so for Jurassic World.

The new Terminator has already done well WW, but that does not mean another 100 million in the bank would not help its chances.

How much did the last Terminator Make in China?

I think Arnold's done though. Maybe The Rock next as Terminator? ;P

Anyone hear about the Terminator coming to Wrestling? It was on reddit.

A big sum of $0.

It will definitely surpass Titanic's domestic gross

Well it already made more then Titanic made in its first run.  It probably still has a chance to surpass its grand  total it just going to take a bit longer then I thought it would since today is already the first day where its daily totals dropped below 1 million.

Looks like Pixels' legs can be half decent. Perhaps a 3x multiplier could be possible?

More like 2.5x.

Saw Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and it was actually really good. Far more deserving for a 1.5 billion gross than Jurassic, but that's just my opinion

Should do well enough anyway, I can see it crossing a billion, considering how many billion grossers we have gotten this year.

Impossible. It will do well that's for sure but its best accomplishment will only be beating the past M:I movies, not grossing a billion.

What is the name of the franchise again?

The last M:I movie did nearly 700 mill worldwide. With good growth in China and decent growth in the rest of the world, it certainly has a chance at breaking the billion.

I still think it's impossible lol. It would have to earn about 750 - 800m+ abroad to reach 1 billion. China is also not always an assured market for success. Also by the time the foreign film blackout  has lifted in China M:I would have to compete with so much more big films that got delayed release dates bec. of the blackout that I'm not quite sure it would have that much staying power.

I think M:I RN has a chance to grow decently domestically compared to Ghost Protocol.

How many big films does M:I have to compete with in China when the blackout is over? Ant Man, what else? Anyways, we will see. But it is deffinitely not impossible.
