Box Office Mojo has it making at least $1.2 billion world wide.  I'm thinking it will be a bit more then $1.3 billion.  It will be past the billion mark next weekend and be Universals highest grossing movie of all time passing Jurrasic Park which only made slightly more then a billion because it got re released once.

Didn't think Furious 7 would get past $800 million that fast.

Like I was saying.. the amount of gross generated by Furious 7 + Age of Ultron in such a short time period will be unprecedented.

2015 will blow past 2010 thanks to Age of Ultron and it should stay as the highest grossing year YTD for quite a while.

If Age of Ultron follows a similar franchise growth to Furious 7's ( as it should happen ) then it should easily hit 2 billion.

If this happens it will be the third film in history to reach 2 billion behind Avatar and Titanic.

Furious 7 is god damn breaking every expectation possible.

Furious 7 already got past the one billion mark. Besides Avengers 2, box office mojo also expects Minions, Star Wars Episode 7 and the last Hunger Games to make over a billion. If Minions makes more then a billion then I think that Inside Out has a very good chance of making over a billion also.

Furious 7 makes me...well, furious. It's not a bad movie from what I understand, but like the Transformers movies before it, I just don't believe it deserves to be on the 1 billion club. When a movie like Furious 7 can come along and (presumably) match the WORLDWIDE box office receipts of stuff like Return of the King and Harry Potter and the DEathly Hallows 2...I think we might have a problem.

At this rate it might match The Avengers. Madness.

I don't have any PROBLEM with the movie, but that kind of feverent worldwide love should be reserved for, you know...good movies. Great movies, not "This is cheap fun" movies.
