Guardians and Apes have started to restore some of my faith in the summer blockbuster after the turd known as Transformers.
Those two + X-Men saved the summer.

TMNT or GOTG?
I think TMNT will edge out GOTG at the box office, but can't really count GOTG out.
Both may make up to $50M or at least $40m

Great opening for TMNT
Ruroni Kenshin eh. 2nd movie in the series. Last did 61m, the sequel might not be able to leg it out to that.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 finally out grossed the first movie still should have done better should have easily made over $600 million world wide by now, at least it has pretty good legs.

It isn't so much that its legs have been good, it's just that it had a slow rollout and keeps releasing in new markets. It should eventually make over 600M but not by much.

They're OK, but Summer animated films always have good legs, and they are nothing like the first film which really had great legs.
Yeah the first one had much better legs plus it went up against a movie that was just as good with Toy Story 3. HTTYD 2 pretty much had no competition. The trailer for Big Hero 6 didn't really impress me I like HTTYD 2 chances of winning the best animated movie Academy Awards at the next Oscars.
