I don't think it could have. It only opened to 12 markets in it's first weekend with UK being the biggest on that list. So far it's fairing better than the previous one in International markets, breaking records for superhero movies in it's opening weekend.

Oh ok, I agree then. lol. Well I hope it still beats the previous spiderman movie cause Im sure it'll do better internationally. It's domestic gross will surely be lower though. Word of mouth won't be on its side this time around. I hope Sony learns something from forcing too much on just one movie. I did like it better than that dreadful Spiderman 3 though.

I don't think it will end up making more money then the first movie especially since it will have a lot of competition in a couple of weeks.

Really? I like Garfield's Spider-Man a lot, much more than Tobey's at least. The Amazing Spider-Man is more inline with the comics with his witty banter, his cockiness and flair. The only problem I've seen is that Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker is too cool. The skateboarding in the first film was just stupid and he doesn't seem like much of a nerd outside of when he is designing his gear.

A lot of haters amongst the early critic reviews of Godzilla. Despite their hate I think it will stay above a 8.5 by users reviews on imdb even though it dropped a few points the last couple of days its currently at a 8.9.
