I don't think it could have. It only opened to 12 markets in it's first weekend with UK being the biggest on that list. So far it's fairing better than the previous one in International markets, breaking records for superhero movies in it's opening weekend.

I was talking about the North American box office in the US it opened in 4,324 theaters which is one of the widest releases ever and even a few more theaters then the first movie opened in.
