Very surprised by Ride Along numbers I guess its this years Identity Thief (A comedy that is very meh and made a lot of money).

Looking at how well movies like DM2, Iron Man 3, Frozen, Catching Fire, Fast and Furious, Gravity, Hobbit, Thor, Monster's University and WWZ did..Man of Steel really underperformed this year. Many were expecting it to be in the top 2 movies of the year...and it barely cracked the top 10. It's a shame considering how well this movie was crafted and it was by far the best movie of the year imho.
Ride Along got #1 from the US alone? Congrats!

Frozen is still getting heat overseas! It just reached more than $23 million in South Korea and is getting more popular by the day, even it's OST is topping major online music charts there, a rare feat. I only hope it performs similarly or even better in Japan and way better in China once it opens.

Rough start for Lionsgate two big bombs with I. Frankenstein and The Legend of Hercules so far this year.
As long as they have the Hunger Games, Lionsgate are fine, but they are going to need something once that is finished.

The Expendables 3 is also going to make a ton of money and the Hunger Games they have for two more years so they don't really have to worry about loosing money anytime soon.

They hope Divergent will be the next HG, but i doubt it, max ~$100m pure profit, same for Exp. 3, btw.
Frozen, sing-along coming out in 1000 theaters this weekend.
gonna take the kids to see it.
it will make $15m or more. Will top DM2 easily.
Frozen will top $400m domestically. If it performs great in Japan and China, will it go over $1b ww?
