Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

AE will end up with $78m in NA.
I'm wondering if Man of Steel will beat Iron Man 3 or end up being more like Star Trek.
I'm 50 so I am one of those on the fence to see Man of Steel - no one so far can play Superman like Christopher Reeve.
however, the story for this movie is very similar to the original Superman 1 and 2 so it is drawing me in to see it.
I think it has a chance to beat Iron Man 3, but no way for world wide.

Oh, and I heard Bruce Wayne will make a cameo on "man of Steel". Great move - getting ready for the Justice League

I can't see After Earth making $78 million in NA.  I'm pretty sure it will run out of steam fast once it hits the $60 million dollar mark.

Just watched Fast 6, not bad. Could use more cars I am familiar with though :P.

The Purge made a killing on it's first day - $16m.
Internship died at $6m

One thing I don't get. Why isn't Star Trek into Darkness making much more? I mean, it looks like even Fast 6 will make more money than Star Trek into Darkness. I enjoyed Fast 6 but only because it was brainless fun - but the story sucks, acting is not good, action scenes are unbelievable. Star Trek is a moving going experience. It's got a good story, great actors, top of the line effects, JJ Abrams. Best movie of the year!

The Purge looks really good too. Gonna check it out today.

$3m budget for Purge? Impressive profits for it then.

Superman is doing superb.
It'll make $51m today (Friday) on it's way to around $140m including Thursday night showings.

This is the End will take in $8m today on it's way to $35m by Monday.

I'm skipping these movies. Need to start saving money for Xbone

I think it's safe to assume that MOS might hit $1b.

No,he wasn't close,but that gross will do just fine for a non-sequel.
