Now that the actual numbers are in they all did less and the Bourne Lecacy did the worst it acutally made a little more then $2 million less.  I'm guessing the last day of the Olympics hurt Sundays box office.

And $19 Million is GREAT for TDKR...we need to stop comparing it to TDK's run now..because since week 2 it's been obvious their trajectories aren't the same.

In a week or two it'll outgross Toy Story 3 and be the highest grossing 3rd movie of a trilogy.


I don't think it will drop as much as Total Recall just did this weekend %68.7 is pretty bad (second worst drop of a movie in the top ten so far this year behind The Devil Inside but that movie turned a profit from day one since it only had a $1 million dollar budget) but I guess it could drop as much as %60.   Also I think it will take TDKR a bit longer to outgross Toy Story 3 world wide more like three to four weeks.

Its only $82.6 million away from outgrossing Shrek 2 it will do it easily just wait 2 to 3 weeks.  Also I already mentioned it earlier TDKR will have a very long theater run the Blu-Ray/DVD doesn't come out until December the 9th.

It launched in all the major markets it has a few minor ones to go it will be released in all market by August 29th.

But it will supass Shrek 2's numbers both domestically and overseas.

That was the same TDK came on Blue Ray on 2008...and I meant it won't pass Shrek 2 domestically not WW...WW it can pass it in less than 2 weeks
