Dark Knight Rises should hopefully cross the Billion mark in 2 weeks if not less. It should have a great hold as more moviegoers will know that the popularity will be much less for the film and will go in the next week or two. $480 million domestically is possible and it should have great legs similar to The Dark Knight OS racking up a large $800 million. The next Batman to come in 2016 should be huge though (as long as its good)

I'd wish. I think $750M is the absolute max. it can get OS. That's still a huge increase over TDK.

And it looks like they're expecting only 18m for Total Recall OW, so I guess it will stay #1 next weekend as well.

TDKR will launch in 40 more countries next weekend o.O

That what I have been saying for a couple of days now the remake of Total Recall looks pretty lame.

A BB - TDK OS scenario would put it REALLY close to $1b.

That won't happen.

THG didn't underperform like BB did (Even BB didn't exactly underperform...but it didn't do very well).

It exceeded any & all expectations by a massive amount. I still remember in January many industry predicts were $180 Million Domestic Total. It almost did that in its OW.

So a BB to TDK scenario is a different ball game. We went from a relatively weak series performer to a perfect storm.

THG's DVD/Blu-ray sales will further indicate how strong WOM was. That's what proved BB had very strong WOM, or we may never have got a TDK...scary thought huh??!

I liked the Total Recall trailer. But the have to show the 3 tited women they have to :'-( PLEASE

The Life Pi is a Ang Lee Movie :/ I don´t watch Ang Lee movies anymore. But it has a Tiger in it but I fear the Tiger will die at the end so this movie will be a no go.
