A quick look at the most wanted lists of the past 6months will tell you everything you need to know.

Zelda bundle #2... Gears3 #5.

umm...this proves my point even more...? The most wanted list is another way of say most anticipated...people here are more interested in Zelda than Gears...or anything else for that matter.

not to mention that Amazon is not a good metric to go by anyway. Its not like they are the only retailers out there. Best Buy, Toys R Us, hell Target. Why not look at actual VGchartz numbers which would cover MULTIPLE retailers, but i guess that would just shoot holes in their theory. Funny how some people swear by this site's numbers, but if it makes them look wrong, they act like they dont exist

I wasn't looking at sales.... or preorders... the wishlist is a little different and more like VGCs most anticipated game which has had Zelda as #1  as well.

I would never quote Amazon for sales... that's just silly.

Why would you look a wishlist and not preorders when it comes to anticipation??  IMHO, money talks, BS walks. Showing numbers of people who have ACTUALLY already put down money to get a game is a better judge of which game is garnering more excitement

With this logic, a better thread would be "which have you pre-ordered?" GeoW3 or SS?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

true, but then that would leave out any ambiguity. And we wouldnt want that ;)  I dont preorder personally, never see a point unless it comes with something great. But ill make an exception for Zelda because it looks great and i dont even own a damn 360, so no Gears

I'm not so sure SS will outsell Gears of War 3. The market for shooters has expanded a lot on the 360 since Gears of War 2.

I Very much doubt SS will outsell Gears3, but im more hyped for Zelda.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

skyward sword by far

Because if I'm anticipated about a game ... it doesn't mean I have money pouring out of my ears. That's why there are wishlists.... for things I want to buy but don't have the $50 to $70 to do so yet.

true, but all you need is 5 bucks to put down a preorder for a game, you dont have to have money pouring out of your ears. Unless you think 360 owners have more money, IMHO there are more people that want GOW3 at this time than Zelda

I would say Zelda is more anticipated in the sense of how much people want it, while Gears probably has the larger fanbase by now, especially being the third game this gen. On the other hand what competition does Zelda have on Wii?

just dance 3 and kirby's dream land but Skyward sword will stand out from the 3 like Caesium from Sodium and Lithium in water.
